Tips to Prepare for NEET Without Coaching.
The following are different tips to prepare for NEET without coaching-
1. Gather all the information necessary for preparation without coaching-
The most important step to prepare without coaching is gathering all the information related to preparation, such as the exam syllabus, exam pattern, exam dates, etc. The syllabus is vast, and it is essential to know it well to prepare in the best way possible.
The distribution of subjects and their preparation per the exam pattern is very important for preparing correctly.
2. Time Table-
It is very important to set a timetable. It is important to create a proper strategy to help you balance everything, i.e. studies and some time for yourself. It is necessary to develop and stick to a study routine. The study timetable should include a manageable amount of hours. Instead, study sessions should be brief, with short breaks in between.
3. Study weaker areas first-
A person should focus on the weaker areas and study them first as it will take time to complete. If it is kept for later, it can cause many problems. The subjects in which you are strong should be studied last.
4. Mock Tests for Preparation-
It is important to appear in mock tests as it will give you a fair idea about your studies. It will help you to know your problems and analyze the weaker areas and give you the confidence to appear well in exams.
5. Positive Attitude-
You could have opted for coaching, which may make you uncomfortable. However, maintain a positive attitude; it will help you perform better and turn the tide in your favor.

Last year, the NEET syllabus underwent major changes. Several topics from each of the three subjects were removed. On the other hand, a few topics were added to each of the subjects as well. Explaining the reason behind the change, NTA stated, βDue to the COVID-19 scenario, various School Boards deleted portions of each subject’s syllabus. The deleted portion is still not being taken back by these Boards. The deletions were not uniform across various boards. Hence, a number of requests were received by the NTA for the revision of the syllabus.β
The subject-wise syllabus is given below.
